It was a day before my birthday and a few days after my high school graduation exam. I don't know whether the story was true story or not, but the earthquake was real. That day, we all were anticipating Mt. Merapi to erupt in the north. Never thought disaster came from the south. More details on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_2006_Java_earthquake

We are thankful to Japan for helping us so much after the earthquake.

As far as I remember, Kato Hiroaki and Saito Takahiro were exchange students and were studying Bahasa Indonesia at Gajah Mada University. And for a few times they were guest MC-ing "Ichigo" radio show at Swaragama FM, famous Jpop radio show in Yogyakarta.

We just want to say, let history be a history. Indonesia-Japan friendship has been established for over 50 years.
